Co-op Stores

From pictures of the early Co-Op, at the junction of High Street & Blenheim Rd, I would deduce that this is High Street, on the right hand side looking toward the junction of Factory Rd. The architects drawing for the then 'new' Co-Op seems far more grandiose than I can recall. I don't think the building expanded that far and I think that what we see here was refurbished and became smaller departments of the larger store. With the Wesex Cafe built into the first floor of these shops.
