According to Barbara Hillier, "The Story of Chandlers Ford" pub. Cave, Chandlers Ford station opened in 1847. The branch line on the left which appears to go into the field served the brick works.

I believe Deans also had their own siding which may be the line on the far right but I am not certain of this.

The photograph is taken from the road bridge, looking west.
