This was on the corner of High Street and Blenheim Rd. The picture was taken with the Chamberlayne Arms to the right of the photographer and out of picture. The building was demolished to make way for the swan Centre. Roughly where the crossroads is there is now a Zebra crossing with, to the left, the entrance into the Swan Centre.

This Co-op had a kiosk on the corner, and one of the assistants who served in there was a lass by the name of Maureen Hoskins, whom I was friendly with and have met in Chandler's Ford recently on several occasions.
